✨ What I'm reading and listening to this week

Hi Reader

I’ve been reading The Plan by Kendra Adachi.

The thing that has stood out the most so far is truly identifying and embracing the season of life you’re in right now and choosing the one thing that is most important to you for this season.

Then and only then, make your plans.

This week we are in a short “season” of sickness.

Just keeping everyone hydrated and getting through this week is the top priority.

My two littlest are the last to get sick and are almost through the worst of it.

Thankfully.

When not tending to them, I’ve been able to listen to several of the audio talks from the free today only, Grow your List Summit without Social Media.

My favorite so far is Growing through Custom GPTs by Azhelle Wade.

She talks about how to train a custom GPT bot for your website to create an interactive experience for your site visitors and uniquely create value for them while also directing them to the best resources you have for their situation and ultimately leading them to work with you.

It is a really eye opening talk!

Here’s the topics covered int the summit:

💻Hosting a summit
🎁Participating in a bundle
📹Set-it-and-forget-it list growth on YouTube
🎙️Leveraging podcast interviews
🧑‍🏫Turning teaching opportunities into a subscriber magnet
🤝Collaborating with other business owners to create products and events
📖Gifting an e-book
🎒Affiliates as a way to grow more quickly
🧠Strategic collaborations into podcast and program

I’m planning to listen to a few more today in the in-between moments.

Here’s my affiliate link if you’d like to listen too.

It’s free to join today or you can purchase a low cost ticket for longer access if you desire.

It’s hosted on MemberVault, one of my favorite course platforms!

If you have a listen, I’d love to know which talks you loved! Hit reply and let me know.

Cheers,

Three women all looking to the left for direction

Hi Reader I’ve been slowly working on this online business dream for years in the little moments and occasionally the wee hours of the night. Next to parenting, it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done. It undoes me at times. It's made me reach down deep into my fears, things I didn’t even know I was afraid of and figure out how to take messy action and be ok with it being messy. One of the things I’ve done to help get clarity in how to move forward is to be a part of a mastermind group. So far...

Woman wearing orange shirt walking down tree lined dirt road at sunrise

Hi Reader I’ve been thinking more about aging as my 50th birthday approaches in a little over a month. When I was younger, I was a star athlete. I did gymnastics, ran track, played volleyball and basketball. In college, I took enough dance classes to get a minor (but they didn’t offer one). But motherhood, homeschooling, starting an online business, and the stress of frequent moves and of adulting have undone so much of this early foundation. I’ve been consistently inconsistent and plagued by...

Pruning sheers pruning a rose bush

Hi Reader Sometimes you need to cut back some things in order to make room for new growth. Yesterday, I started helping prune the rose bushes in my mother’s garden. I’ve been doing it every year that I live close by since I was teenager. Every time it’s a bit hard to get started. There are new leaf buds everywhere, a tangled mess of last year’s tiny stems, and thick, old dead canes that are always really hard to get to. The only way to start is to start somewhere. Pick a cane and make a cut....
