Hi Reader Sometimes you need to cut back some things in order to make room for new growth. Yesterday, I started helping prune the rose bushes in my mother’s garden. I’ve been doing it every year that I live close by since I was teenager. Every time it’s a bit hard to get started. There are new leaf buds everywhere, a tangled mess of last year’s tiny stems, and thick, old dead canes that are always really hard to get to. The only way to start is to start somewhere. Pick a cane and make a cut. Remove all the canes that are overlapping. Cut out all the dead ones. Even though it’s hard work, pruning roses allows them to thrive. It can be similar for your business and your website. A website may need to be updated every few years and certainly a major overhaul at minimum once every decade. Sometimes you need to streamline your offers and information. This is what I've been working on for my own website. Other times you need to add information, details, photos, and forms so your website can actually do some of your work for you. One of the first client websites I updated was nearly 11 years old and it looked like it. The color scheme was terribly dated and there was limited information about the golf course or event details. It was a simple online flyer with a phone number to call if you wanted to learn more or book your tee time. The updates we made included integration to automatically book a tee time, detailed information and pictures of all the holes on the course, league and tournament details, gallery event photos with a page for each type of event, and a page highlighting the building lots available to purchase, and custom forms for each department. There is so much we can do to bring your website into the modern age. If updating your website has finally reached the top of your priorities, I’d love to chat. There is so much we can do. Here’s a link to book your discovery call. Cheers, When you are ready here’s three ways we can help:

Hi Reader Setting up MemberVault finally made it to the top of my to do list. It’s been a long time coming… Like 2 years+. But for a number of reasons including: Moving 4 times, Unexpected deadlines for other programs I was in, Migrating my email from Flodesk to Kit (because of the direct integration), Starting a website update and not feeling it about halfway through, Finally getting inspiration and...
